Instructors from Palmerstown Taekwon-Do School recently took part in the code of ethics course for the protection of children in sport.
It is compulsory for Palmerstown Taekwon-Do Instructors to complete this qualification and have Garda clearance to coach children, providing a safe and protected environment for children to train.
Palmerstown Taekwon-Do School was established in 2009 by Mr Gavin Coker III Dan, and is dedicated to teaching ITF Taekwon-Do.

June Grading 2011
Congratulations to all the students who graded on Saturday.
A very impressive performance by all the students who were test on their patterns, sparing, destruction and terminology. The new Blue tags should be very proud. Keep up the good work.
December Grading 2010
Congratulations to all the students who passed the recent colour belt grading, with some outstanding performances on the day.
Students were tested on patterns, sparing and terminology, with an excellent array of movements displayed by all.
Mr Birthistle then explained to the new green belts how important it is to set the standard for the juniors who will be following closely in their footsteps, and the importance of hard work in class and at home stating “The grades only get harder, so you must work harder to get them” something I’m sure will not faze the students who are not afraid of hard work.
May I take this opportunity to congratulate all the students and their parents on their achievements so far, and I look forward to the year ahead.
Firhouse TKD Tournament
Congratulations to all the Palmerstown TKD students who took part in their first tournament in Firhouse Taekwon-Do School.
They took a total of Ten medals which is an amazing achievement for their first time out and they were a credit to the school.
